WORKING MINDFULLY

In today’s fast paced workplace, we often feel pulled in many directions. From our internal dialogue to our external experience, from our personal obligations to our professional duties, from our desired focus to the many distractions demanding our attention, from our desired goals to the many setbacks, it is difficult to avoid feeling stressed, overwhelmed or burned out.

Working Mindfully is a mindfulness-based program that teaches participant skills to manage the multiple stressors in their lives. Following a brief introduction to the newest stress research, participants take part in guided meditations, mindful movement practice, and lively discussions on the application of mindfulness concepts to everyday life.

This Working Mindfully training is based on the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques pioneered by Dr. Jon Cabot-Zinn of the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Dr. Cabot Zinn’s research, and that of others, suggests that mindful practices can help develop resilience, support well-being, increase happiness and satisfaction, and bolster work performance.

WHAT PARTICIPANTS ARE SAYING:
